Between State Agencies with MCHCP Medical Benefits
A subscriber who transfers to another agency covered by MCHCP will have no break in coverage. Level of coverage and plan must remain the same. The employer will notify MCHCP of transfer.

Employees coming from MoDOT, Conservation and Highway Patrol
If employment is transferred from one of these agencies to an MCHCP-covered agency in the same month, medical coverage begins the first of the next month. Dental and vision coverage is continuous.

If employment is transferred from one of these agencies to an MCHCP-covered agency in the next month, medical coverage can be requested to begin the first of the month. Dental and vision coverage is continuous.

Enrollment must be completed through SEBES within 31 days of the new hire date. If MCHCP coverage is not elected, the employee may enroll during the next Open Enrollment for coverage effective the following January.
